First!

Hello, world!

I'm one of a fan of Wrestle Angels series. I am an avid wrestling fan since I was young. I've watched them all from gimmicky WWF around 1988 to joshi puroresu. I might call myself a smark since I've already known pro wrestling is fake but I still enjoy it. I am also a long time gamer as well. Fire Pro Wrestling and Wrestle Angels are my favourites when it comes to wrestling games. I love to edit and manage, and both games are perfect for me. I've been the fan of WA games since Super Wrestle Angels on SNES.

Enough of introducing, let's get going!

I can't wait for the new Wrestle Angels game. Wrestle Angels Survivor 2, which will be released next month, could be the best wrestling management game ever. I've played many wrestling games that emphasize on management in which there are few. The one that comes close to this is Extreme Warfare series, but I still like the "mark" aspect of WA series more compare to the "smark" aspect of EW ones.

There are a lot of new stuffs in WAS2. There will be more characters; some are totally new, some are from Wrestle Angels i ("i" stands for "ai", which means "love") for mobile phones. Some of old characters also get revamped, in both good and bad ways. One example is your favourite blonde-haired (formerly green) hoss Chris Morgan; from very bland to extremely bootylicious. Some others, such as the almighty Dark Star Chaos, look like they are in a 'roid rage, which they suppose to be since they are inspired by real life male foreign wrestlers, IMO.

The Evolution of Chris Morgan

Other new improvements can be seen in this game are in management modes. You can do a lot more things with your company such as ability to downgrading in case you are short of money, more realistic contract negotiation, and better regional/independent booking. Wrestler's details are also deeper. Weight classes are now available from LL(giant), L, M, S, SS(tiny), much clearer for those who are exclusively in junior division. Another extra slot for a trademark finisher is also added. There are also "special abilities" that each wrestler will have in a parameter. We still don't know what those abilities would affect wrestler's in-ring or off-ring performance, but we will see.

That's it for a quick intro and a quick preview. See ya!
